Today, our class went to Telluride! We had an awesome time! We learned about a lot of Telluride history on our trip.

| The Galloping Goose! The Galloping Goose was the only way to reach many of the cities in Colorado. It was the only passenger car that ran along the rail lines. |

| The Telluride Mining Museum was an interesting stop on our tour! We saw a lot of vintage mining equipment and learned how they powered the equipment with steam or water wheels. |

| Our guide then gave us the task to build our own water wheel! With a partner, my students put together their wheel and then they tested them with spraying water. Competition was fierce! |
